Better Or Worse. . .The One Who Got Away
Guidelines for Submitting:
1. The
book is open to entries of 350 words or
fewer (word count includes title of
entry). Non Fiction stories, prose and/or poetry. Entries
outside of the word limitation will be disregarded, no refunds will be issued.
Type the word count on the first page of your entry along with your name,
address, phone number and email address. Pen names may be used if legal name is
provided for the publishing agreement.
2. The
reading fee is $18.00 per entry. You may submit multiple entries and may send
one check made to In Any Event, Inc. (in U.S. funds) We
accept checks or money orders, cashiers checks, no cash please. Each submitted
story will receive a comment letter regarding their story or poem. Entries must
be received by deadline:
August 30th, 2011

3. All entries must be in English,
original, unpublished, and not submitted for consideration, or accepted
anywhere at the time of submission. In
Any Event, Inc./and Daryl Ott Underhill reserves
all worldwide publication rights, not limited to and including internet
web-based publication, ebook, other forms of media, movie, social media, audio,
excerpts, all forms of print in whole or
part, promotional/marketing/advertising material, etc. for the selected entries
to be published in the book:

4. All
entries must be typewritten and double-spaced one side of 8-1/2 x 11 white paper with your reading fee check. Entries will not be returned.
5. You
will be notified by September 22, 2011, as to if you will be included in the
book. Each selected entry will receive 2 complimentary copies of For Better Or Worse. . .The One Who Got Away.
Your name/byline will be under your
story or poem title and a listing of each author providing contact information at the back of the book.
